Jaguar Land Rover's mobility arm backs the ride-sharing platform with a strategic investment.
"We are excited to collaborate with a leading platform like Lyft not only on developing premium mobility solutions but also devising innovative solutions to the transport problems Jaguar Land Rover’s customers face."
The investment round was led by Angels in MedCity and Angel Academe.
"We are really excited to be starting the next phase of BeamLine and initiating our first in-clinic trials. Being part of Angels in Medcity and Angel Academe has offered us such diverse but relevant experience that has and will greatly accelerate our growth."
The capital package comprises £500k in equity and a £2m lending line arranged via Beer & Young.
The University of Reading spinout secured pre-seed backing from Henley Business Angels to expand its sportswear range and smart wearables research.
"We are delighted to have several HBA members participate as new investors in KYMIRA. The company is showing solid growth in performance enhancing sportswear and building an application in wearables that will help identify and monitor chronic health disorders."
The digital bank secured backing from over 6,500 crowd investors alongside venture capital firms.
