"Automated scanning technologies have transformed the way we identify and remediate most vulnerabilities. However, companies still need to rely on manual penetration testing for certain classes of vulnerability that automated tools can’t detect. This area of the market has remained largely a stagnant and annual process, meaning a proportion of vulnerabilities are left to be detected just once a year. Cytix is here to change that using the latest AI models to bring all testing forward and create targeted testing at scale."
The funding round includes backing from SFC Capital and Clearance Venture Partners to support research and development.
"We are thrilled to receive this substantial support from such high profile investors and grant providers. This funding not only validates our vision, set out in our early days in the Venture Builder Carbon13, but also empowers us to accelerate our growth and bring transformative solutions to the housing market."
Oshen Holdings led the Series A round with backing from DSW Ventures, SFC Capital, and Boundary Capital.
"I would like to thank all our investors for their trust and support. Our success in continuing to raise investment despite the difficult market conditions over the last few years is testament to their belief in the company’s commercial potential and our world-class team. The funds will be used to complete the pre-clinical testing of our first medical device product range and our preparations for entry into the orthopaedic market."
