"Everybody knows that dialysis care must improve. For this to happen, providers and physicians need products that allow greater flexibility to bring dialysis directly to the patient, while simplifying complexity and reducing the overall cost of care. Our small, simple-to-use, and powerful dialysis system SC+ is positioned to help transform kidney care. The funding we are announcing today will allow us to accelerate our emergence as a significant force in this market."
The financing round was co-led by Accel and Tiger Global to support the company's global expansion.
"This latest investment allows us to accelerate our growth at every level – doubling down on our successful product led growth strategy, adding to our customer roster, recruiting talent to our team worldwide and expanding geographically."
LocalGlobe and Sands Capital Ventures led the financing round, which will fund research and quality control expansion.
"Most of the world’s videos – billions of hours of content – are shackled to a single language. And that’s for a simple reason – quality dubbing is prohibitively expensive and time-consuming, so current solutions only work for a select group of deep-pocketed content owners. Speech translation technology fundamentally changes the dynamics of how content is distributed and monetised. The technology we created will level the playing field – allowing all forms of video and audio to be consumed in any language, therefore vastly multiplying the potential reach for all content creators."
The Series A round was led by Point72 Ventures to support conversational AI deployment in contact centres.
"Developing sophisticated AI technology while formulating a compelling SaaS proposition is a significant challenge, and it has delayed the real-world deployment of conversational AI for far too long,"
