Quanta raises £175.4m Series D funding to accelerate commercialisation of its portable hemodialysis system.
The financing round was led by Glenview Capital and co-led by Novo Holdings.
Quanta Dialysis Technologies develops the compact Quanta Dialysis System to make kidney care accessible across multiple clinical and home settings. The firm received the MacRobert Award for engineering innovation in 2022.
Quanta Dialysis Technologies has raised £175.4m in a Series D financing round led by Glenview Capital and co-ordinated alongside Novo Holdings. The round drew participation from a broad syndicate of investors, including BlackRock, Sands Capital, and Wellington Partners. The capital will be deployed to scale up global operations, expand manufacturing infrastructure, and support commercialisation of the SC+ hemodialysis system in the United States.
