Mercia Ventures manages regional investment vehicles including the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II.
The financing round was supported by 24 Haymarket and Mercia to fund regional expansion and product development.

The investment was led by Nauta Capital with participation from Mercia.

Mercia led the Series A round to help the company expand its software and research teams.

The funding round was secured from the MEIF Proof of Concept and Early Stage Fund alongside Mercia and angel investors to support global growth.
"PHARMASEAL aims to give customers increased control over their clinical trials and product development. This second round of investment demonstrates the confidence that investors have in our product and will enable us to scale up our commercial operations."
The Birmingham property platform raised £250k from Mercia and private investors to fund commercial rollout and hiring.
"From our work in the property sector and experience as landlords, we recognised that there was a gap in the market for a platform that could bring together all the different aspects of property investment and management. We are looking forward to the launch of Rent Chief and working with our investors as we continue to develop and enhance the product."
