The funding round was led by angel investor Robert Williams and supported by the Development Bank of Wales.
"Pelly bridges the gap between data and action. We’ve built a platform that leverages AI to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for clubs. Our focus is empowering teams to operate with agility, integrating the data they already have, and providing tools that help them win—both on and off the pitch. We’ve been working closely with international academic institutions to develop our prototype. Over 100 industry professionals have been consulted to date, and eight football clubs are now testing the product before going to market in the next few months. The support of our team, advisors, and investors is helping us to accelerate our growth. They’re encouraging us to work smarter whilst opening doors and providing the working capital that we need to fund our early-stage development. It’s a huge vote of confidence in us, our business model, and our potential as a young and driven team."
The funding round was backed by the Development Bank of Wales and SFC Capital.

PurifAI is about putting cutting-edge testing power directly into the hands of users, wherever they are and whatever their DNA question may be."
The Development Bank of Wales has backed dog-welcoming coffee shop chain Coffi Lab with £1.7m to accelerate its regional expansion.
"The investment we’ve had from the Development Bank of Wales means we’ll be able to leverage our investment, speeding up our roll out to bring our Labs to even more communities across Wales and beyond."
The Development Bank of Wales provided the loan to support product expansion and new electric vehicle services.
"The UK automotive aftermarket is thriving, but smaller, more local garages can sometimes struggle to keep up with advances in diagnostic technology. Maverick Diagnostics benefits from a highly skilled team who have a passion for sharing their technology and expertise with garages and workshops throughout the UK, enabling them to compete with main dealers. Our support for their business means that they can do more to enable their customers to help car owners with repair, maintenance and service requirements."
The funding from the Development Bank of Wales will be used to purchase materials for a growing order book.
"Changing legislation and an increased focus on fire safety means that there is increasing demand for certification on fire doors. The bulk of our work is in the social housing sector but we also fit doors for building contractors, developers and landlords. The first loan from the Development Bank enabled us to emerge from the pandemic with renewed optimism for the future of the business so we invested in additional tooling and fleet vehicles plus a new unit at the Westbourne Centre in Rhyl. This latest loan will be used to fund the purchase of the materials that we need to fulfil our growing order book."
