"We started Numan three years ago to help men take better care of themselves. Since then we’ve had a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of thousands of men in the UK, and have been humbled and inspired by the response that the Numan offering has had. This funding is a significant milestone on our journey to help millions of men be healthier. White Star Capital is one of the best investors in our space, and I’m delighted to be working together along with a wider team of brilliant investors. We now have the team, product, technology, and investor base to accelerate Numan’s growth and fulfill the potential of our vision."
Anthemis Exponential Ventures led the seed round with participation from APEX Ventures and Entrepreneur First.
"The current pandemic vividly shows the need for digital, non-invasive technologies for clinical diagnosis and monitoring. Clinical trials are on hold, with regulators advising on the use of novel remote endpoints to salvage the trials. At the same time, the shift towards telemedicine models is further accelerating the adoption of digital technologies in the health care sectors. Novoic–with its next generation algorithms and strong focus on clinical validation–is best positioned to drive this acceleration."
The financing round was led by Creandum with participation from MMC Ventures, Notion Capital and existing backers.
"It’s been an incredible privilege to work with such a great team building yulife over the past three years and we’re confident that the further funding will allow us to fulfil our vision of making life insurance a force for good. We’re grateful to receive backing from investors with whom we are so deeply aligned, and believe this will help us promote our proposition to inspire lasting, healthy change in people’s lives."
