Shahzad is a general partner at Advent Life Sciences, having previously worked as an associate at McKinsey and an interventional cardiologist in the NHS. He also chairs the board of trustees for MQ: Transforming Mental Health.
Kaasim brings venture capital experience, currently serving as a general partner at Advent Life Sciences after holding roles at Advent Venture Partners and Cutfield Freeman and Co.
The financing round was led by EQT Life Sciences alongside co-leads Advent Life Sciences and British Business Bank.
