Curve Therapeutics, a Southampton-based biotech startup, has raised £40.5m in a Series A financing round to advance its cancer drug candidates toward human trials.
The round was led by Pfizer Ventures, with participation from Columbus Venture Partners, British Patient Capital, and returning investors Advent Life Sciences and Epidarex Capital.
The capital will be directed toward pushing the company's lead assets into clinical evaluation and expanding its proprietary Microcycle drug discovery platform.
