Cyted Health raises £33m Series B funding led by EQT Life Sciences to scale US expansion
The financing round was led by EQT Life Sciences alongside co-leads Advent Life Sciences and British Business Bank.
Cyted Health is a gastrointestinal molecular diagnostics company that provides minimally invasive cell collection and biomarker testing for esophageal conditions. Its technology is deployed across the UK and expanding into the US market.
Cyted Health has secured £33m in Series B funding led by EQT Life Sciences. The round was co-led by Advent Life Sciences and the British Business Bank, with further participation from existing backers Morningside and BGF.
The capital will be deployed to accelerate commercial expansion across the United States, scale operations in the UK, and broaden the company portfolio of advanced diagnostic tests. Cyted operates a diagnostics platform anchored by its EndoSign device and molecular biomarker testing.
The financing arrives alongside the ongoing DETECT-ME clinical validation study in the United States, which commenced earlier in the year. The company has previously completed over 35,000 tests within the National Health Service.
