YHANGRY secures £1.1m seed investment from angel backers to expand its private chef platform.

London-based startup YHANGRY has secured £1.1m in seed investment to expand its private chef platform. The round drew participation from prominent angel investors and venture figures, including Carmen Rico, Eileen Burbidge, Martin Mignot, and television personality Ollie Locke.

The fresh capital will be directed towards team expansion and further technological development across the UK market. YHANGRY connects users with vetted culinary professionals to provide accessible dining experiences at home.

"Where I come from, every celebration happens around a dinner table, mostly at home. So I immediately connected with YHANGRY’s mission. However, as an investor with experience in marketplaces and network effects, I could also see the challenges of scaling an on-demand marketplace that is also complex on operations.
