General Catalyst led the round, which will finance the company's international growth strategy and technology scaling.
Bloom & Wild operates an online flower and house plant delivery service across eight countries. The profitable business combines letterbox gifting with advanced technology and logistics.
Bloom & Wild has secured a £75m Series D funding round led by General Catalyst to accelerate its expansion across Europe. The investment saw participation from Index Ventures, Novator, Latitude Ventures, D4 Ventures, and existing backer Burda Principal Investments. The capital will support the company as it scales its technology and pursues further growth opportunities in the European market.
The London-based business experienced strong performance through 2020, achieving its first profitable year following a 160% increase in revenue. The company completed more than 4 million deliveries across several European countries during the period. The new funding follows earlier institutional rounds involving backers such as MMC Ventures and Piper.
