The Sunderland-based cybersecurity firm secured backing from Mercia Ventures and Northstar Ventures to expand its team and enhance its technology.
"Every business now gets asked to prove its systems are secure, usually by a customer who’s about to sign. The answer shouldn’t be three months and a consultant. We automate 90% of the work, fix the issues we find instead of just reporting them, and keep everything in place afterwards, which is the part everyone forgets about. That’s why we’ve doubled revenue in six months – because this problem isn’t going anywhere."
Winfred reads them overnight, pulls out the facts, checks them against Companies House and files them. It was built by C8VA, who do the same kind of work for other businesses: turning messy, unstructured material into something you can search, count and rely on.
The round was backed by a syndicate of investors including Aligned Syndicate, Leeds Angels, and Arx Ventures.
"At the moment, models can’t verify themselves. So when a bank, for example, ships machine-written code into production, that’s on the model’s word that it’s safe."
Integrity Growth Partners led the $22m investment, marking the company's first external capital in nine years.

The Series A round was led by Album VC with participation from Karma Ventures,.406 Ventures, Atlantic Bridge, IQ Capital and Lakestar.

The London deeptech startup secured backing from Ascension Ventures to scale its voice biometrics technology.

Voxmind’s physics-based approach, on-device deployment, and existing OEM footprint give them a structural advantage that’s very difficult to replicate. Excited to lead this round and back the team as they scale."
