The University College London spin out raised the capital from IQ Capital to scale its artificial intelligence software optimisation suite.

"We are at the precipice of automated optimisation and TurinTech.ai is well-positioned for clients who wish to increase profitability and reduce costs. Our research has prompted interest in our commercial product from big tech companies, a multinational FMCG, fintechs, other startups and hedge funds to name a few."
— Leslie Kanthan, CEO and cofounder
Series B
£9.3M

The financial backing will accelerate technology development and expand offerings across the fashion and retail sectors.

"We’re on a mission to boost profitability in fashion using MTO technology to purposefully capitalise on inventory through digital collections. We know that product digitalisation results in few or no physical products needing to be pre-created. And with our technology, brands can take advantage of their under-utilised intellectual property and their existing stock by enabling customisation and personalisation across physical stores and on e-commerce sites. Thanks to our solutions and services, brands will be able to reduce waste and meet their goal of becoming fully sustainable. More than 25 major brands have already launched successful projects with PlatformE because they trust in our proposition. And we’re showing no signs of slowing down."
— Ben Demiri, CEO
Seed
£1.4M

The agtech business overfunded its original target on Seedrs to support product development and international growth.

"We’re really pleased with where the round is finishing up. Exceeding our initial target will allow us to continue to build our UK farmer base while also further developing and marketing our new revenue-driving services like payments, finance and haulage. With all of the uncertainty and tough market conditions out there we are here to help farmers realise upto 12 percentage points of efficiencies in their trading. We are adding more and more services to turn Hectare into a full service trading platform to ensure we are giving farmers all the tools they need to conduct their business in the most efficient way."
— Doug Bairner, CEO
Debt
£500K

The Wiltshire technology firm has raised debt finance from FW Capital to support its relocation and recruitment plans.

"Ours is a very niche and specialised area within the Business Service Management market place. We have spent the past several years researching and developing our technology to provide an online platform that simplifies and automates IT processes, improves decision-making, and orchestrates workflow across cloud, virtual, distributed, and mainframe resources."
— Rob Marks, Chief Executive

The round was led by Bill Currie, Dermot O'Grady, Mark Horrocks, and Sir Terry Leahy to support geographical and product growth.

"This is the culmination of lots of hard work. It is a pivotal moment for the company. It will change how we operate, how we are perceived and how we think,"
— Benjamin Rubin, CEO and founder
