CommerzVentures led the Series A round with participation from Carbide Ventures, Massive, Nauta Capital, and Notion Capital.
"Cledara is a result of my life-long desire to start a company that focussed on helping people"
The financing round was co-led by Molten Ventures and Gresham House.
"We are delighted at this show of confidence in FocalPoint from new and established investors amidst a challenging market backdrop. Our IP portfolio is strong, this injection of capital will enable us to move faster to meet the demands of several big customers in the US and South East Asia, and to accelerate our IP portfolio growth."
The seed round was led by Stride with participation from high-profile technology executives.
"Developing a next-generation road TMS is extremely complicated once you dive into the details. You have to be a little crazy to go after it, and you need exceptional engineering, product and design capabilities. It’s the kind of challenge we just had to go after,"
Octopus Ventures backed the seed round, which will fund product development and team expansion.
"We are incredibly excited to have raised this capital. The seed round will enable us to launch our intelligence layer and gain a unique position within the market to be the first AI-led Customer Success platform. Velaris will serve the entire organisation enabling horizontal growth in other teams and becoming the single source of truth for customer data."
The round was led by Balderton Capital and Lakestar with backing from a broad syndicate of funds and angel investors.
"We started an energy company because it can solve two of the world’s greatest problems: rising energy prices and climate change. While at Revolut, we saw how ageing incumbents and broken business models held the system back and how modern technology and an open-minded approach helped consumers worldwide. The energy industry plays a fundamental role in people’s lives yet regularly leaves customers dissatisfied. It is ripe for disruption in the same way as the banking sector was."
