The London startup raised the capital from Moonfire Ventures, Speedinvest and Openspace Ventures to scale its compliance and monitoring technology.
"When decision-making in alternative assets is opaque, risk doesn’t disappear – it just becomes invisible until it isn’t. As these markets grow more complex and more visible, institutions need to show not just what they decided, but how. We’re building the infrastructure that makes that process structured, transparent and defensible – without stripping away professional judgement."
The carbon management platform secured the investment from backers including Spiral Capital, Gazelle Capital, and Deep 30.
"Businesses are increasingly being asked to manage sustainability the way they manage finance, yet many are still operating it like an annual project: rebuilding from scratch each year and producing a number rather than a system. Our focus is on changing that, by providing the platform and the expertise to make climate data continuous, defensible, and connected to the decisions that matter. This funding allows us to bring that to more organisations across more markets."
The seed round was led by Pi Labs to accelerate product development and international expansion.
"Real estate is one of the largest industries in the world, yet much of its revenue still depends on fragmented communication across channels. We built VerbaFlo to address this by creating a purpose-built vertical AI platform for residential real estate that integrates with the systems operators already use, enabling them to automate and optimise conversations across the resident lifecycle. Today, VerbaFlo supports more than 40 use cases across enquiry management, lead qualification, bookings, onboarding and resident engagement. We are incredibly proud to have the backing of Pi Labs alongside an exceptional group of investors, and this investment will accelerate product development and expand our presence across the UK, US and European markets."
The seed round was backed by ACS Publications and Enago to scale research integrity technology.
"Protecting the integrity of the scholarly record through better tools is core to the mission of ACS. By investing in Signals, we aim to accelerate uptake of these capabilities while supporting a solution that benefits the entire scholarly community. ACS is excited to help take Signals to the next level."
