Jenson Funding Partners led the pre-seed round to help the agricultural technology firm advance its monitoring tools.
"Much research has shown us that we are not working palm plantations in the most effective way possible, particularly when we consider just how much palm is required for global use. With Permia’s technology, we hope to help farmers globally generate the most sustainable yield from the healthiest trees. By minimising some required input we can reduce CO2 emissions, not to mention the social impact of generating more income within the supply chain"
The funding round was led by Redrice, Joyance Partners, Velocity Juice, and angel investors.
"For so many women, their intimate skin is an afterthought, only prioritised when there is a ‘problem’ and they’re forced to use outdated feminine hygiene products which have ‘what’s wrong with her?’ associations."
The investment was co-led by Unusual Ventures, Motive Partners, and Bain Capital Ventures to fuel international expansion and product development.
