Blackfinch Ventures backed the Glasgow recruitment software firm in a seed follow-on round.

The Manchester based legal tech firm has secured backing from Maven Capital Partners and Charles Sharland to drive product development and international expansion.

It is already generating a buzz within the legal tech space, so the Summize platform is well-equipped for a busy 2020, with a new team and more software features. The seed round was led by Fuel Ventures with backing from Epiphany Capital and angel investors to support international expansion and product development.
"The demand for increasingly more realistic and content-rich productions, especially in games and film projects, has put a huge strain on resourcing. Vast armies of skilled talent are required to produce worlds of immersive content. Finding and retaining that talent has become a huge challenge."
Crowdcube led the follow-on investment round, with additional backing from Insurtech Gateway, Finance Durham Fund, and the North East Development Capital Fund.
