Summize secures 500k seed investment from Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund and Charles Sharland to accelerate growth
The Manchester based legal tech firm has secured backing from Maven Capital Partners and Charles Sharland to drive product development and international expansion.
Summize provides an artificial intelligence powered contract lifecycle management platform that integrates directly with everyday workplace software. The business helps corporate legal teams automate workflows and streamline document management.
Manchester based software provider Summize has secured 500k in seed funding from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund and tech investor Charles Sharland. The capital will be used to accelerate team growth, product development and cross border expansion plans.
The company has created an artificial intelligence driven platform that allows legal teams to upload multiple contracts and generate instant summaries. Previous backing from Maven Capital Partners helped increase headcount and bring the product to market ahead of schedule. Summize now plans to scale its UK customer base and expand into the US market over the coming years.
