Loadsure secures £1.1m in seed funding led by Insurtech Gateway to scale its digital freight insurance platform.
Insurtech Gateway led the seed round to help Loadsure expand its digital cargo insurance platform across the US.
Loadsure is an insurtech managing general agent that provides digital, transactional cargo insurance and automated claims processing. The company builds embedded insurance solutions designed to match the speed of modern supply chains.
Loadsure has secured £1.1m in a seed funding round led by Insurtech Gateway, with participation from corporate and angel backers. The company will use the capital to market its digital insurance integration to transport platforms across the United States. The platform helps logistics firms address uninsured freight by cutting costs and accelerating claims settlements.
Operating as a Lloyd's coverholder, Loadsure automates the insurance workflow for spot freight. The fresh backing will support the business as it expands adoption of its digital solution within the American market.
