"Our goal for Lottie is to become the trusted adviser to care seekers throughout the world – helping families best understand, find and fund later life care. Over 500,000 Britons now visit Lottie every month, and we’re incredibly excited to have Accel join General Catalyst and Kindred on our journey, helping to fuel our next stage of growth and continue in our mission to elevate later life for everybody."

Abbey International Finance and Ryan Group Holdings have backed Cisiv to scale its operations and enhance its Baseline Plus software.

"We have seen a transformation of the market and a recognition that technology solutions can help deliver evidence more efficiently. We are thrilled to see the uptake of Baseline Plus to enable market access, real-world evidence for health outcomes and patient reported outcomes. This new funding will help us to scale our operations and commercial teams to help deliver real-world data to more life science partners."

Senzo Health has secured £1.4m in funding to further develop its Amplified Lateral Flow diagnostic technology.

"When a PCR test is able to pick something up early, we’re able to pick it up. Our limit of detection is somewhere between 1,000 and 10,000 times better than current lateral flow tests, much closer to PCR levels. What the market doesn’t need is another test that is just a screen on the front end … what we need are tests that are tests of record that can be acted on. That requires performance that is at the level of current central lab PCR tests,"

Octopus Ventures led the pre-seed round to help launch Titan Takeoff.

"We see so many businesses investing heavily in AI, but most struggle to return value from their investments. Machine learning teams are facing a whole host of problems in model deployment – from GPU shortages, to concerns over privacy when deploying through third parties like OpenAI. We’re transforming what was once the most challenging part of the development cycle into the easiest and most efficient, and it’s here where our flagship product, Takeoff, comes into its own"
