Arkis has secured £1.8m in pre-seed funding to advance its decentralised finance prime brokerage platform. The investment round was led by gumi Cryptos Capital, with additional backing from Psalion, G1 Ventures, Blocklabs, and Roosh Ventures. The fresh capital will support the ongoing development of the firm's undercollateralized lending and risk management infrastructure as it prepares for its public launch.
Founded in 2022 by Serhii Tyshchenko and Oleksandr Proskurin, the London-based company offers margin accounts and cross-margining engines designed for decentralised finance hedge funds and capital providers. The team combines backgrounds in academic mathematics and traditional finance to address risk management challenges following major market liquidations.
