MMC led the round with participation from All Iron Ventures, Bonsai Partners, 10x and Santander Smart.
"This investment round provides us with the necessary capital to further increase the accuracy of our technology, which is really exciting. It will allow us to offer the best possible experience for our users and to continue expanding across Europe. Our new investors bring valuable experience and knowledge in branded direct-to-consumer tech, user retention, and internationalisation that will help to take Lookiero to the next level of scale."
The seed round was led by Episode 1 to support the company in developing its fulfilment service.
"We started experimenting with selling online to see what problems sellers face and it was amazing how quickly it became obvious to us that this was the major one. Quite literally, no fulfilment service would touch us until we could guarantee high volume sales."
Piper has acquired a minority stake in the tech accessories brand.
"We are immensely proud of Mous and the exciting growth we have achieved to date and wanted to find an investor who felt as passionately about the business’s potential as we do. Although we had the opportunity to partner with others, we felt strongly that Piper would be best placed to help us strengthen our brand and provide us with the support we need to achieve our goals for the business."
Unilever Ventures led the £1.9m Series A round, which will fund UK expansion and European launch preparations.
"This has been a key growth round for us in preparation of larger Series B in 2020, so we are delighted to have returned to Seedrs, welcome back our existing supporters, and pick up some new ones along the way."
