The Manchester-headquartered charging network has closed a debt raise from NatWest and KfW IPEX-Bank to grow its infrastructure nationwide.

"We are determined to play an active role in the UK’s transition to a low carbon economy, and accelerating the take up of electric vehicles is a crucial part of the transition. We are delighted to have supported Be.EV with this financing which will drive the growth of its UK public charging network."

The Dubai private equity firm has backed the UK electric vehicle charging innovator as it expands its technology into defence and off-grid markets.

"Receiving the incredible support and pledged investment from Petra Equity Partners, which is renowned for backing cutting-edge technology innovators, is testament to our effort to radically rethink how to mobilise energy and solve the biggest challenge of electrification. Our collaboration will help accelerate the development and deployment of our charging technologies to transform mobility across the globe, including the defence sector where we believe we can support the evolving criteria of its sustainable and adaptable energy needs."

GV led the Series A round for the climate risk platform, which will use the capital to scale its presence in North America and Europe.

"In just over one year since going to market, Climate X has become one of the world’s fastest growing providers of physical climate risk data and analytics, driving value for global financial services clients with over $6.5 trillion in combined AUM. "Automating our ticketing processes, response workflows and communications has made process optimization possible, while also improving our response times and the quality of our support interactions. Pre-Seed
£1.6M

The pre-seed round was led by a consortium including Seedcamp, Concept Ventures, RTP Global, C2V, and FJ Labs.

"Machines break down on average 600 hours every year, and the current manual processes to get them operational again are inefficient and time-consuming. Each machine can have between 50 to 200 documents attached, and with dealerships handling up to 1,000 machines annually, pinpointing issues can be a daunting task. Our platform ingests all manuals, enabling us to access the right documents and provide solutions in seconds rather than days. This significantly reduces downtime and recovers lost revenue."
— Ciaran Gillen, Co-founder and CEO
