The social cycling application has closed a new funding round from professional athletes to support its upcoming development phase.

"The potential of Link My Ride is huge and when I first learned about the app I wanted to find out more as I’m keen to explore business opportunities that excite me personally. It connects people on the bike in such a simple way, saving time when organising rides and finding new routes. I’ve organised several rides on the app now, both public and private, and everyone’s always really happy to ride together."

"The problem is two-fold. Firstly, there is an awareness issue – these are highly accessible, meaningful and well-paid jobs but people are unaware that they pay well or that they even exist. Secondly, the current training systems in place cannot deliver at the speed and scale required,"
— Mat Ilic, CEO

"Much research has shown us that we are not working palm plantations in the most effective way possible, particularly when we consider just how much palm is required for global use. With Permia’s technology, we hope to help farmers globally generate the most sustainable yield from the healthiest trees. By minimising some required input we can reduce CO2 emissions, not to mention the social impact of generating more income within the supply chain"

"We are excited to become strategic investors, convinced by the vision of GoJoe’s founders. They are exactly the type of start-up that we are looking for in the venture capital market. Having an unique and highly scalable business model, found at the cross-roads of wellbeing, sports and social apps, GoJoe has an impressive potential of organic growth with a wide range of demographics."

"We believe Gener8 is the first company in the world to enable people to centralise their data into one location and earn from it. We’ve built something that, until now, has only been theoretical in the world of academia"
— Sam Jones, Founder
