London based music game studio Maintain Altitude has secured £380k in pre seed funding led by Hiro Capital, with participation from angel investors associated with titles such as Candy Crush and Guitar Hero. The capital will be directed towards accelerating game development and securing partnerships with music rights holders.
Founded in 2022 by Oliver Moira and Simon Prytherch, the studio is currently building its debut title, Beat Hunter, a mobile game scheduled for a soft launch in 2025 followed by a global rollout in 2026. The founders bring decades of experience from major record labels and games companies to the venture.
