The Series A round was co-led by Forbion and General Atlantic to support clinical trials and portfolio expansion.
"People living with obesity and its complications deserve better options at each stage of their treatment journey. These include oral therapies with less frequent dosing regimens, which have the potential for improved efficacy and tolerability, and innovative combination therapies for healthier weight loss and—equally importantly—maintenance of metabolically healthy weight. We created Verdiva Bio to accelerate the development of differentiated medicines that address these significant unmet medical needs."
LDV Capital led the pre-seed round, with backing from Bek Ventures and Tiny Supercomputer Investment Company, to fund platform expansion and hospital deployments.
"The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital is known as one of the UK’s leading institutions in terms of outcomes and efficiency and, naturally, they have decided to utilize our platform and leverage the cutting-edge AI technology to even further increase the efficiency of surgical procedures. By autonomously tracking surgical processes and tools, VitVio minimizes the potential for human error and adds no extra steps to the surgical process, aligning with industry experts’ consensus on the importance of non-intrusive technology."
The Dublin-based artificial intelligence startup secured backing from Molten Ventures, ACT Venture Capital, and Seroba to expand its global footprint.
"This investment accelerates our mission to transform global pathology access. Our ergonomic, AI-enabled platform enhances diagnostic workflow and accuracy – allowing experts to clear backlogs faster without compromising quality. By expanding this technology worldwide, we’re not just improving healthcare efficiency, we’re supporting both the pathologists who drive diagnoses and the patients who depend on them."
The funding comes from private investors to support NHS expansion and workflow integrations.
"We have the opportunity to become the go-to application for clinicians to access the information they need, where and when they need it, reducing the administrative burden and unlocking a happier and more productive workforce."
The interim investment round was led by Midven with support from the Midlands Engine Investment Fund.
"We’re thrilled to have successfully closed our funding round and want to extend our thanks to Midven for believing in Get Well Soon’s vision. With this investment, we’ll be able to continue enhancing the healthcare industry, providing an accessible, transparent and completely patient-centric platform that empowers patients with the most vital thing: choice."
