The Birmingham technology company secured the follow on debt investment from the Midlands Engine Investment Fund to support job creation and digital marketing.
"At Learning Labs we believe that every child and young person across the UK deserves to be getting the best from their education experience. Our product supports teachers in unlocking the potential of non-native-speaking students without the need for time and budget resources that many schools and colleges do not have. With this MEIF loan, FSE has provided the right funding at the right time to support this next phase of our growth as we continue to develop our offering, expand into the FE market, and further scale the business."
The funding round was backed by Mercia and Foresight through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund alongside private investors.
"The world of work is changing, with many people working remotely and using video calls or emails to communicate. WorkBuzz helps companies to navigate these challenges and build great cultures. Our vision is to improve the working lives of 1 million people, and this investment round will help us to make it happen sooner."
The funding from Midven and the Midlands Engine Investment Fund will support product development and create twenty jobs in Nottingham.
"We are delighted to have received the investment from Midven. It will allow us to move the business onto a more commercial footing, recruit the necessary specialised staff and reduce time to market. We want to surpass our prior expectations to enhance security, improve passenger experience and increase throughput, all whilst reducing overall costs for airports."
The financing package was underwritten by Mercia Fund Managers and the Midlands Engine Investment Fund.
"As a clinical services-led company, C7 Health’s mantra is to work shoulder-to-shoulder with healthcare providers to deliver solutions that will benefit patients – rather than develop products that are great in theory, but fail to make a real difference."
