The seed financing was provided by angel investors to fund product development and team expansion.

"Versori is a really exciting group of technology solutions that address the increasing problems in their respective markets. We aim to build and provide mission-critical software and platforms to our customers. Switchboard changes the way any scale business integrates and manages business systems and workflows, while Koja tackles the huge problems that the payment industry faces with a fresh commerce first approach to financial transactions. We can’t wait to grow the business with our amazing founding team and customers who were lucky enough to get to the front of the waitlist!"
— Sean Brown, Founder and CEO
Seed
£4.1M

CommerzVentures and A/O PropTech led the seed financing to support product expansion and service growing customer demand.

"Accurately quantifying exposure to climate risk is now an economic, statutory, and moral necessity. Without concerted action, extreme weather events have the potential to cost trillions of dollars to the global economy. The built world will bear the brunt of this. Climate X’s platform gives a range of actors across many industries the tools they need to understand, assess, predict and report the exposure of their physical assets to ecological challenges – and in doing so enable them to start planning and investing accordingly to reduce future losses and pain."
— Gregory Dewerpe, founder
Seed

Eden Block led the seed round to support the development of a trustless compute network for deep learning.

"Deep learning has revolutionised diverse areas from facial recognition to spy plane radar operation. The core concepts emerged in the ‘50s, but the last decade has seen real world application grow sharply – and this will only increase. With this scale comes existential questions about our work, life, and identity. This, along with ballooning demand for hardware – and fat margins – is why the usual names like AWS and Azure have fought to command such high market share. The result is a market which is more expensive and places control of who-gets-what in the hands of centralised entities. We’ve spoken to a number of companies with staggering cloud compute bills who struggle to purchase outright the hardware that they need; so we designed a better way – superior on price, with unlimited scalability, and no gatekeepers."

£1.5M

The investment round was led by Guardian Media Group Ventures and All Turtles to help scale the company's services.

"As we’re seeing from the Ukrainian crisis, unfortunately, we live in a world where mass displacement of talented people from war, famine and even climate change is increasingly commonplace."
— Mursal Hedayat, Founder & CEO
Series A
£15.2M

The Series A round was led by Updata Partners to support international growth and product development.

"Our configurable and fully automated platform allows customers to incorporate a frictionless verification process specific to their business objectives and provides the flexibility to address data privacy and security requirements, including the ability to deploy an on-premise solution. We strive to provide the global coverage demanded by borderless organisations."
— Victor Fredung, CEO
