Shufti Pro provides artificial intelligence powered identity verification solutions to help global businesses manage risk and onboard customers. The company offers a suite of KYC, KYB, and anti money laundering services across numerous jurisdictions.
Shufti Pro has secured £15.2m in a Series A funding round led by Updata Partners. The fresh capital will be deployed to drive international expansion, enhance its core identity verification platform, and broaden its regulatory compliance suite.
Operating from London with five regional offices, the firm offers automated onboarding and compliance tools across more than 200 countries and territories. Chief executive Victor Fredung noted that the platform provides customisable verification workflows tailored to distinct regulatory and security demands.
The investment marks a new phase for the bootstrapped business as it scales its operations to meet growing international demand for digital security solutions. Updata Partners partner Braden Snyder praised the company for its technical capability and commercial traction to date.
