The Liverpool based waste technology firm secured its second equity financing from existing angel backers.
The pre-seed investment was led by BrightCap Ventures and will support product development and customer acquisition.
"Building in a pandemic, in the midst of lockdowns has been super-interesting. We found customers to validate the concept with and with more time and feedback, we’ve been able to accelerate product and commercial discussions. Having Georgi from BrightCap as an investor and adviser has been an important milestone since my first conversation with him. With this funding, we will continue to build the deep-tech concept and solve a problem that’s costing industries billions annually."
The financing round was led by Eos Advisory with participation from Newable Ventures and Scottish Enterprise.
"We are revolutionising oil test ing and analysis services by making conventional laboratory procedures mobile, rapid and routine"
InMotion Ventures backed the blockchain technology firm to improve supply chain transparency for Jaguar Land Rover.
"This investment is further evidence of Jaguar Land Rover’s commitment to improving the sustainability of its supply chain around the globe, and will help authentically trace raw materials from origin to supplier, eventually to vehicle. The implementation of blockchain technology provides a great opportunity to make a systemic change in supply chain compliance, not just for the automotive world but for other industries, too."
