Micrima raises $7.9m to expand its breast imaging technology.

The Bristol spinout has increased its total funding to $10.7m following earlier backing from the University Enterprise Fund and SetSquared.

The Suffolk-based diagnostics firm raised capital to support its expansion.

The North East behavioural marketing firm will use the capital to open offices in Japan and New York.

The oversubscribed round was backed by Jerusalem Venture Partners, GE, Bank Hapoalim, OurCrowd, and SVB Investments.

The round was led by CommerzVentures with participation from Marsh, Octopus Ventures, and Munich Re.
