Immersive Labs

Goldman Sachs has led a Series A investment in the cyber security skills platform, alongside private backers.

£6.2MSeries A

Immersive Labs provides a cybersecurity platform that measures and improves human cyber skills across technical and non-technical teams. The business currently counts major organisations such as HSBC, Vodafone and the NHS among its clients.

Immersive Labs has secured £6.2m in Series A funding led by Goldman Sachs, with participation from smaller private investors. The capital will be directed towards expanding the team and building infrastructure to support product development and market expansion. The business provides an interactive platform designed to help organisations continuously upskill their cyber security personnel against emerging threats.

The company was established following work originating from GCHQ's Cyber Summer School and counts major corporate clients such as BAE Systems and Sophos among its users. This latest injection of capital aims to scale operations further as demand for technical talent and rapid training solutions increases across enterprise environments.

From the founder

"Large organizations are facing a dual cyber security talent problem; not only is the number of professionals seriously lagging but so is the pace at which their skills are developed. If you are able to recruit the right people in the first place, today’s attackers move so fast your team may quickly fall behind."

Investor perspective

"Having rolled out the Immersive Lab platform globally ourselves, we are aware of the benefits it brings to large organizations. Continuous training programmes are critical to meeting evolving cyber security threats. The Immersive platform has helped us hone the skills of the people at the front line of our cyber defenses and identify new talent throughout the organisation."
