The financing was supported by the company network of angel investors.
"Over the last few years, we have built an exceptional network of predominantly angel investors, and the successful completion of this investment round is a testament to their faith in our technology, our team and our vision. In the current climate, where investment has become more cautious, this achievement is particularly significant."
The student living start-up has raised a portion of its £5m target to scale operations across the UK and the US.
"We have proved our platform and business model to be the future of student lettings in two of the country’s biggest cities. We’re now ready to disrupt the property market in the rest of the UK. Our intuitive and frictionless app streamlines each step of the rental process, from search to management, and utilities. This makes it easy for tenants and agents to manage their home in a single place."
The seed round was led by TX Ventures with participation from Form Ventures, Portfolio Ventures, Neosfer, and Core Angels Barcelona.
"After meeting with many banks and fintechs, it was clear that this problem was extended within the financial industry. So we started focusing on solving this and helping banks get access to better data, prioritising accuracy and security."
The funding round includes a grant from Innovate UK and strategic backing from Modality Partnership to develop hypertension and mental health services.
"Over 30% of hypertension patients are affected by anxiety or depression, impacting their ability to manage lifestyle behaviours consistently. At Holly Health, we have supported over 30,000 people so far and are committed to innovating to solve our biggest human and healthcare challenges. This funding marks a pivotal moment – with the support of Innovate UK and the strategic investment from Modality Partnership, we are empowered to combat the complex and unresolved challenge of multimorbidity."
