The Manchester-based messaging platform raised the capital from backers including GP Bullhound and the Angel CoFund to accelerate expansion.

The investment includes £750k from NPIF - Mercia Equity Finance alongside contributions from private backers.

The funding will allow us to invest further in product development to scale our matchmaking platform and our Discover product, in line with our vision of connecting university research with companies around the world to positively impact on society."
The seed follow-on round was led by Hambro Perks and backed by the founders of Thomsons Online Benefits.

The grant will fund an online platform providing researchers with access to AI models and algorithms.
