The British electric vehicle brand secured backing from ClearlySo, TSP Ventures, and angels to accelerate growth and product development.
"We’re currently experiencing a once-in-a-century shift in transport, thanks to an increasing awareness of the impact we are having on our environment along with a renewed desire to make healthier personal choices. Electric bikes and electric scooters are crucial to solving the mobility issues we see today, of congestion and pollution. FuroSystems makes high-tech, lightweight electric vehicles with a long range so people can take on their morning commute and travel around their cities with ease. We want to give people a new sense of freedom and independence to move around their city safely and sustainably."
SuperSeed led the investment round with participation from industrial specialist Sumaria.
"We want to change the way manufacturers work with and manage their factories, using technology. The potential to improve everything from saving downtime to ensuring staff are safe, is endless. But very few companies are providing an end-to-end solution. ThingTrax provides the hardware and the platform needed to analyse and monitor performance, to make smarter decisions. We already have great customers using our solutions around the world, and this investment will help us reach more manufacturers to upgrade them to factories of the future."
Longwall Ventures and the Angel CoFund led the Series A round to support the development of advanced metal 3D printing systems.
"Additive Manufacturing is currently one of the fastest growing, disruptive technology spaces, providing manufacturers with the ability to produce high value components that would have been impossible even ten years ago. We are excited to be developing our new product in such a high-potential market, and look forward to driving its rapid growth as we prepare to launch in the coming years."
Episode 1 led the seed round to support technology development and expand the manufacturer marketplace.
"Current sourcing methods aren't fit for brands of the future; they're offline, inefficient and fragmented. Technology is needed for global supply chains to progress and become faster, more efficient and more sustainable. At SupplyCompass we see the key to success lying in rethinking existing sourcing methods, with better collaboration, innovation and technology at the core. Our vision is to help fashion and interior brands make products that don't have to cost the earth, and this funding from investors Episode 1 will help us to do just that."
The funding round was led by NVM Private Equity to accelerate global growth and product expertise.
"Chemigraphic has a fabulous customer base and is extremely well placed to become a significant global provider of Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS). We are delighted that NVM shares our vision and has decided to invest in and back the team. The investment will enable us to implement planned strategic investments in our global footprint and hence capitalise on a number of extremely exciting growth opportunities. We are very much looking forward to partnering with the NVM team as we embark upon this next exciting phase in our development"
