The seed round was led by SFC Capital with participation from Antler and angel investors.
"The business case for better workplace support for those living with chronic health conditions is undoubted. The sickness absence rate for those with a long-term health condition was 4.4% in 2018, compared with 1.1% for those without such a condition. Many long-term conditions can be prevented through lifestyle changes, yet people struggle to find the right information and support to make those changes. We’re here to change that. Our vision is a world where everyone finds it easy to be proactive about their health."
SFC Capital led the pre-seed round alongside tech founders and angels to help grow the team and refine the product.
"In the aftermath of Covid, many amongst us are choosing the self-employed route, which is making the UK economy more vibrant and innovative. Current invoicing tools are not designed for these micro businesses, plus existing payment products take a significant chunk of their invoice value. We are here to change this thanks to Open Banking and our innovative self-service platform"
The funding round was backed by SFC Capital, British Business Investments, and New World Group to support financial inclusion.
"We are the first Fintech to take a fully values-based approach to serving communities with a truly systemic approach to financial inclusion. Moreover, we are committed to engaging, educating and empowering minorities to close the wealth and social gaps that exist. There are 1.3 billion addressable people on the planet who remain unbanked. If we want to emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic to a better version of our world, we cannot do that without ensuring that everyone can participate in today’s financial system and therefore be included in modern society."
SFC Capital led the round, which will help the startup expand its team and enhance its Sprie try on technology.
"With this investment, we will be able to accelerate the next major e-commerce evolution with our cutting-edge augmented reality platform, as well as build our team and expand our customer base."
