The funding round was led by Praetura Ventures with participation from the Development Bank of Wales and Perscitus.
"It’s been a landmark year for Reacta, and we continue to go from strength-to-strength as a business, developing new diagnostic products and expanding our capabilities. The number of people experiencing food allergies is increasing, so it’s vital that technologies to accurately and safely test for allergies are developed. We’re committed to providing excellence in the development of a suite of OFC products, and revolutionising the way food allergies are diagnosed worldwide."
Praetura Ventures led the financing alongside ACT Capital Partners to support team growth and market expansion.
"Right now there is a huge opportunity for PixelMax, but to get to the next level we need an investment partner that can provide strategic guidance and support, as well as an injection of capital. The team at Praetura Ventures not only share our ambitions, they have a track record of supporting businesses just like ours and this deal represents a significant milestone in our growth journey."
The Manchester based venture capital fund led the round alongside existing backers to support team growth and international expansion.
"From day one we have been committed to transforming digital fundraising by putting charities first. Our products put charities front and centre to enable them to raise more for their cause. This investment will play a crucial part in our journey to be the number one for charity fundraising in the UK and beyond, by helping us to rapidly scale our team and roll out new products to help the third sector."
The funding round was led by Blackfinch and Praetura Ventures to support product marketing and business growth.
"Both Blackfinch and Praetura Ventures instantly recognised what Transreport is trying to achieve: make transport more accessible. Their respective strategic visions for a more equal, equitable and inclusive society aligns completely with our own. Going forward, there is a strong belief that companies which put people and the planet first, will undoubtedly be more profitable. We maintain an ethos of using technology for doing good, and the entire team is greatly looking forward to working with them to help grow Transreport further to maximise its positive impact on as many people as possible."
