Pembroke VCT plc is a venture capital trust established in 2013 and managed by Pembroke Investment Managers LLP, investing in growth stage companies across consumer, business services, and technology sectors.
The accessibility technology company raised the capital to expand into aviation and international markets.
"This significant investment marks a key moment in the growth and history of Transreport and is a huge vote of confidence and trust from our investors, Puma Private Equity and Pembroke VCT, in our vision and ability to execute on our strategic plans. These funds will accelerate our expansion into the aviation sector and continue supporting our entry into the Japanese market in partnership with Hankyu Corporation, Japan’s world-leading railway operator and most importantly provide a better experience for disabled and older people."
The financing round was led by Pembroke VCT and Downing Healthcare Ventures to support the company in scaling its AI surgical technology.
"Cydar Medical is at a key inflection point and we are working to leverage our novel world-class platform and capabilities to rapidly scale our intelligent surgical maps offering through increasing the number of end-users and launching additional value-add capabilities on the platform."
Pembroke VCT led the £2.5m financing round with support from existing backers Haatch Ventures and Brick Capital Ventures.
"Auddy offers a unique and exciting prospect to businesses looking to use audio as a core part of their communications toolset and is poised to take advantage of surging growth in the podcasting sector over the coming years. We look forward to working closely with Andrew and his brilliant team to help Auddy achieve its ambitions in the years ahead."
Pembroke VCT and Eppes Creek Ventures backed the latest financing round for the event planning software provider.
"It’s an enormous endorsement to have Pembroke and Eppes Creek invest again based on what they’ve seen in the nine months since their first investment,"
Pembroke VCT has backed healthcare recruitment software provider Credentially with a £1m investment.
"Credentially’s strong management team and scalable technology are both key characteristics of the type of business we look for. Credentially has helped improve healthcare efficiency and we are excited about the growth prospects and opportunities that lie ahead that will help drive digital change within the healthcare system."
