"We are at an exciting point in time where powerful Vision LLMs are now both accurate and cost efficient enough to open up valuable new use cases, thanks to our combination of on-device Tiny AI with cloud-based Vision LLMs. We’re going to make it possible for everyone to have their own AI security guard and assistant that never gets distracted, so they feel safer and calmer than ever before. It will warn you about a stranger in your backyard, a leaking water pipe, or simply help you find your keys. And it’s not just for the home, but for retail, offices, warehouses, elderly care and more. The trust of our partners and investors allows us to bring powerful AI into the physical world, beyond desktops and the cloud."
The investment was led by AV8 Ventures with participation from several European funds to advance workplace safety technology.
"Today marks an important milestone for Soter Analytics and our mission to empower organisations to make their workplace safer. Our bespoke technology provides an end-to-end safety solution through AI and machine learning, and this fundraise shows that our investors and partners have recognised the strength of our product. This fresh capital will allow us to invest in research and development and work alongside organisations to help them improve workplace safety, decrease employee turnover, and enable injured workers return to work faster"
The Series A round was led by OTB Ventures and will support international expansion and platform development.
"We are thrilled to have raised our latest level of funding and partnering with great investors as we embark on our exciting next stage of growth. The investment will be put towards improving and expanding our services, both in terms of manufacturing capabilities and geography. Since starting operations in Manchester, Fractory has played a vital role in helping to digitise the UK’s metalworks industry, which we believe will be essential for its survival. We can’t wait to expand our platform to help more manufacturers and markets across the globe."
