Fractory raises £6.5m Series A investment led by OTB Ventures to fund global expansion
The Series A round was led by OTB Ventures and will support international expansion and platform development.
Fractory operates an online metal fabrication platform that digitises manufacturing supply chains through automated partner networks. The company connects customers with production partners to streamline procurement and reduce delivery times.
Fractory has secured £6.5m in Series A funding led by OTB Ventures, with participation from existing backers including Trind Ventures, Superhero Capital, United Angels VC, Startup Wise Guys and Verve Ventures. The capital will be directed towards international expansion into the US, France and Italy, alongside software development for new manufacturing capabilities such as CNC machining and industrial 3D printing.
The company has experienced increased demand during recent supply chain disruptions, allowing clients to maintain continuity by automatically switching between production partners. Since early 2020, revenue has grown significantly as manufacturers turn to digital solutions to improve efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.

The investment will be put towards improving and expanding our services, both in terms of manufacturing capabilities and geography. Since starting operations in Manchester, Fractory has played a vital role in helping to digitise the UK’s metalworks industry, which we believe will be essential for its survival. We can’t wait to expand our platform to help more manufacturers and markets across the globe."
