The funding round was led by Northern Gritstone with participation from Amadeus Capital Partners, Manta Ray, Mercia Ventures and NPIF, Mercia Equity Finance.

The Rotherham-based clean energy startup raised the capital to scale its microwave technology and launch a pilot project.
"Hydrogen is rapidly emerging as a sustainable way to decarbonise the economy, but cost, availability, and other practical issues have held back its use. Our technology offers a way to overcome these and provide clean, low-cost power on-site. For some organisations, Suiso’s on-site hydrogen generation may be the only realistic ‘green’ option – for example, energy-intensive industrial applications such as large boilers or furnaces, heavy lifting gear, or HGV and truck refuelling. This investment will help us move to the next stage on our journey to bring it to market."
NPIF, Mercia Equity Finance backed the follow-on round to support platform enhancements and job creation.
"By using [Bimsense’s] latest software, the design and construction industry will have access to a wider range of tools to help improve building safety and deliver on our energy efficiency targets as we move towards a Net Zero economy."
The digital twin pioneer raised the capital from existing backer Mercia and the government Future Fund to prepare for commercial launch.
"David and his team have won international recognition for their work and their platform opens up new possibilities for businesses in areas such as construction, transport and logistics, product development and manufacturing. We are pleased to be able to fund them once again to help them launch their product into the market."
