Innovate UK is a government-backed agency supporting business-led innovation across the United Kingdom.
The funding round was co-led by DSW Ventures and NG Bio alongside a grant from Innovate UK.
"We have been developing this method of treatment for a decade now, with support from Versus Arthritis, and it has proved successful in laboratory tests, but the funding will allow us to move toward human clinical trials."
SFC Capital led the pre-seed round, which will help Furbnow expand its supplier network for home energy upgrades.

The funding round includes a grant from Innovate UK and strategic backing from Modality Partnership to develop hypertension and mental health services.

The London-based bladder care startup secured backing from Eka VC and Joyance to drive its upcoming launch in the United States.

This investment will be critical in us achieving this mission, and expanding our services to the US, where 75m people struggle with these issues. The company will apply its machine learning technology to improve the production of oligonucleotide therapeutics in partnership with CPI.
