North AI has secured £580k in pre-seed funding and grant support to develop its media analytics platform. The financing package comprises a £280k grant from Innovate UK alongside a £300k equity investment led by SFC Capital, with participation from media industry angel investors.
Founded by the former team behind Paus, the Manchester-based startup builds predictive tools designed to help producers, studios, and advertisers assess the commercial potential of video content. The company plans to use the capital to kick-start its core product development before pursuing a larger fundraising round later in the year.
