The Series A round was led by AlbionVC with participation from HTH and InHealth Ventures.

"Over the last six years, we have been creating and developing our patient-centric sensor-based technology and platform to transform neuro-rehab. In clinical studies, NeuroBall was proven to motivate patients to do hundreds of movement repetitions independently at home, which led to significant improvements in the range of motion, reduction of arm pain and return to daily activities using their arm and hand after a stroke. This has proven transformative to neuro-rehab as previously patients would not have access to in-person physical or occupational therapy due to factors such as insurance, financial, transportation and health barriers. We’re excited to partner with AlbionVC, HTH, and InHealth Ventures, and are hugely grateful for their support to scale our unique neurological therapeutics platform that we believe will change the world of neuro-rehab."

Series A
£7.0M

The funding round was led by InHealth Ventures with backing from AlbionVC to scale digital therapy provision.

"The UK is facing a mental health crisis. Demand far outsrips supply and technology has a vital role to play in closing that gap. We’re immensely proud of the lives we’ve already changed through Healios. This funding will help us reach more families in need and enable us to develop further sector-leading interventions and therapies. By bringing together clinical experts and giving them the tools to reach their patients regardless of where they are, we are closing the access gap which has plagued mental health provision for far too long."

Series A
£2.4M

The healthcare artificial intelligence startup raised the capital from backers including MMC Ventures, Seedcamp, and Bayer G4A to scale operations globally.

"The inability of today's computers to understand doctors' unique way of writing has been a major issue. Doctors can correctly describe an 'infiltrating mass' without writing the word 'tumor' or write 'bilateral ground glass peripheral opacity' without explicitly indicating a suspicion for COVID-19"
