Transformative secures £1.7m seed funding led by Tera Ventures to advance predictive cardiac software.
Tera Ventures led the seed financing round for the medical software startup, with participation from the Wellcome Trust and InHealth Ventures.
Transformative is a medical software company that develops predictive patient monitoring tools to identify imminent life-threatening medical events. Its patented technology focuses on forecasting in-hospital sudden cardiac arrest.
Transformative has secured a £1.7m seed round led by Tera Ventures, with additional backing from the Wellcome Trust and InHealth Ventures. The fresh capital will be directed towards obtaining FDA clearance for the company's inaugural product and expanding its predictive healthcare technology offerings. The round also sees the addition of new board members from Tera Ventures and AI Seed.
The startup's core software uses hospital monitoring data to predict sudden cardiac arrest hours in advance, addressing a critical clinical need for early intervention. This development arrives as health authorities continue to emphasise preventive care to improve survival rates from cardiac events globally.
