The funding round will drive team expansion and accelerate the development of the company software platform.
"I’m delighted to be a part of the CybaVerse team. I have been completely drawn to Ollie’s ambitions and goals and the company’s innovation and creativity, which I believe will significantly benefit the security community at large. Cyber security is the most critical challenge in the digital world and we must support SMEs with a more efficient way to defend against the threats they face, otherwise we will always be on the backfoot to adversaries. I believe CybaVerse is making strides in tackling this important issue and I am delighted I will be playing a part in helping them reach this goal with my skills, experience and network."
The Seed round was led by Adjuvo with participation from Haatch Ventures, Unbundled VC, and multiple angel investors.
"Until now, receipts have represented nothing but waste and a wasted opportunity. We’re transforming the humble receipt from its static, destined-for-landfill status into a data-rich source of customer insight. The response we’ve seen from our early adopter retail partners says it all: our software drives engagement and unlocks valuable customer data. We’ve seen huge spikes in everything from email sign-ups to app downloads for the brands using our software. This investment will enable us to work with more retailers, make our products even more impactful, and prevent billions of receipts from heading to landfill."
The seed round was led by Martin Brailsford with participation from Episode 1, Haatch and Portfolio Ventures.
"Given my background at Amazon and then as an investor in a number of e-commerce businesses I understood how hard it is for them to predict their cashflow and decide what strategic moves to make to improve profits and cashflow. It’s also really hard to get expert finance advice cost effectively. Viable makes it easy for business owners to plan ahead and achieve commercial success."
The investment round was led by Haatch Ventures and Notion Capital to support marketplace growth and new product development.
"With the hospitality sector facing unprecedented challenges, we believe our mission to help every pub and bar maximise their potential with live music is more important than ever. Our platform has already helped hundreds of venues improve customer satisfaction, drive footfall and increase sales while giving thousands of artists an easier way to earn money gigging. We’re just getting started and the investment announced today will help bring the benefits of live music to more communities in towns and cities across the UK."
Mercuri led the seed investment round to support product, marketing and partnership efforts at Made With Intent.
"The current measures of success are the problem. Metrics like conversion rate, and therefore the actions retailers take to improve them, are short-term, retrospective and aggregated."
