Waterspring Ventures and the Development Bank of Wales backed the travel platform in a £1m co-investment.
"We set up tourhub because we could see the growth of experiential travel and cultural holidays, but there was a need to bring it all in one place for travellers. We offer everything else but the standard, traditional beach package holidays. With close to over 800 worldwide suppliers, we provide you with whatever you dream of – from seeing snow monkeys in the Japanese Alps, hiking around 18 national parks in America, to cycling tours across Vietnam – we have something for every type of adventure seeker, no matter what your age."
The funding comprises a loan and a grant to build new guest accommodation and a restaurant at the historic golf club.
"This is a major investment for Pembrokeshire. It will transform Tenby Golf Club; benefitting golfing enthusiasts and the local community alike with an improved clubhouse, much-needed high-quality guest accommodation and a fine dining restaurant that will all be open to non-members."
The micro loan from the Development Bank of Wales will fund the fit-out of a new shop in Cardiff.
"Our landlord contacted us to explain that a larger shop in Wellfield Court was becoming available and it was ideal timing as we needed more space and wanted to take advantage of a larger shop front with more passing trade."
The funding from the Development Bank of Wales supports the construction of 44 new homes in Newtown.
