The savings platform secured £7m from over 16,500 participants in a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign.

The fintech app secured backing from over 4,000 retail investors after more than doubling its initial fundraising target.

Crowdcube led the follow-on investment round, with additional backing from Insurtech Gateway, Finance Durham Fund, and the North East Development Capital Fund.

The Manchester-based challenger bank will deploy the capital to expand its workforce and infrastructure ahead of its scheduled market entry.
