Moneybox raises £7m through Crowdcube to support platform growth and team expansion
The savings platform secured £7m from over 16,500 participants in a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign.
Moneybox is a digital wealth management platform that helps customers across the UK manage their savings, investments, home-buying, and retirement needs.
Moneybox has secured £7m in a crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube, completing the raise in under two days with participation from over 16,500 investors. The company surpassed its initial £1m goal within twenty minutes, setting a record for the highest number of participants in a single campaign for 2020.
The funds will be directed towards scaling the team and supporting the platform's ongoing expansion. This crowdfunding initiative follows a £30m Series C round announced earlier in the month, as well as a previous Series B raise in 2018.
